advanced ultrasound equipment. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) relies heavily on ultrasound technology to ensure the safety and integrity of various structures and components that are in use and cannot be removed for inspection. Examples include pipelines, welded joints and piping, storage tanks, airplane structures, jet engines, railways, fossil fuel plants, and nuclear power plants.
